Viviane Vaux

Viviane Vaux is an Australian artist of Greek heritage, living and working in Cornwall. With a background in printmaking, textiles and costume, for the last four years her practice has centred on community projects. She has devised and delivered workshops to community groups across Cornwall with Falmouth Art Gallery and Falmouth Cultural Services, developing relationships with the WILD Parents Project, the Dracaena Centre (Young Women’s Group, 50+ Social Group, Stroke Club) and Sea Sanctuary. She describes herself as a creative facilitator rather than a teacher, aiming to introduce new ways and tactile forms of expression and make art accessible to all. Her workshops invite exploration of new tools and forms of expression in a safe, nurturing, playful and collective setting.
