Shape Shift Exhibition: A Night with Hospital Rooms at Fitzrovia Chapel (6:30 – 8:30pm)

A panel discussion exploring the process and delivery of a hospital rooms commission from an artists perspective. Delving into the complexities of creating art in mental health spaces and the lasting legacy of these artworks.

Speakers: Sarah Dwyer, Sola Olulode and Mark Titchner, moderated by Hospital Rooms Senior Public Programmes Curator Siphiwe Mnguni.
Please join Hospital Rooms and an expert panel for ‘A Night with Hospital Rooms at Fitzrovia Chapel’, an in – person event and drinks reception at Fitzrovia Chapel.
The evening will begin with a special performance of Mark Jennings.
Doors open at 18:30pm with a drinks reception in the gallery, followed by a performance and talk at 19:00pm.
The talk is part of the Shape Shift exhibition, organised by arts and mental health charity Hospital Rooms at Fitzrovia Chapel.
Please be aware this event will feature discussion of experiences of mental health services and may include references to experiences of racism and other systemic violences.



Accessing the Venue

The chapel is situated in the heart of Fitzrovia, central London, Pearson Square, which is a pedestrianised area not accessible to vehicles. You can enter it on foot from the north side on Riding House Street, the east side on Cleveland Street and the south side on Mortimer Street.
The Fitzrovia Chapel is close to several underground stations.

The chapel is fully accessible for wheelchair users. The space is on one level, and while there is a step outside, a wheelchair lift is available. Visitors are encouraged to reach out in advance to discuss any specific accessibility needs. The goal is to ensure that everyone has a comfortable and enjoyable experience with the necessary support during their visit.
