What we do
We collaborate with artists, service users, and NHS mental healthcare units to craft innovative artwork and creative programmes while dispelling stigmas and advocating for culture and creativity in mental health as a universal human right. Our unique blend of artistic excellence and compassionate care transforms mental health spaces into places of hope, dignity, and recovery for all.

Holding Space for Healing
We exist to challenge a broken, outdated approach to mental health in the UK, where people at their most vulnerable in mental health services are often exposed to a frightening and harsh environment closer to a prison than a hospital. To do this, we create spaces where human beings dealing with mental illness can express themselves and feel joy while working through their recovery.

Digital Art School
Digital Art School is an innovative three-year programme providing artist-led digital workshops and art materials to every NHS inpatient mental health site in England. Plus, all of our artist-led digital workshops are completely free and open for all to use. Many of our internationally acclaimed artists bring you art workshops directly from their studio spaces.

We centre and celebrate the work of service users who take part in Digital Art School, in our online, interactive gallery. Workshop facilitators are welcome to upload work by their service users for the chance to be featured.
