Michael O’Reilly
Michael O’Reilly is a Scenic Artist at the Royal Opera House. Born in Cleveland on the North Yorkshire Moors, O’Reilly graduated from the Royal Academy Schools in 2013, having studied prior at Wimbledon College of Art. His work typically consists of imaginary, idyllic landscapes, onto which he places objects and figures of a personal significance.
In 2015 O’Reilly completed a two year residency at Sevenoaks School, Kent. In May 2016, he painted a wall-based installation for the Arts Council funded initiative, ‘Hospital Rooms’.
