Join William Sieghart, The Poetry Pharmacist, as he invites you to pause and reflect on the inspiring words of three carefully chosen poems. Together, you’ll explore the uplifting messages within each piece and the comfort they can bring. Using pen, pencil, or paint, write out the words, filling the page. Next consider what images the words inspire. Try bringing them to life through illustration. Finally, place your finished piece somewhere you’ll see it every day, perhaps on your mirror, and as William suggests “let this become your daily practice, your mantra, your companion, your friend”.

William Sieghart The Poetry Pharmacy Live
William Sieghart has had a long career in publishing and the arts. He established the Forward Prizes for Poetry in 1992 and founded National Poetry Day in 1994. He was awarded a CBE in the 2016 New Year Honours for services to public libraries. His Poetry Pharmacy began touring in 2014; since then, and particularly since the publications of the hugely beloved The Poetry Pharmacy (2017) The Poetry Pharmacy Returns (2019) and The Poetry Pharmacy Forever (2023), he has prescribed thousands of poems up and down the UK over hundreds of hours of in-person consultations.
