Anna Barriball

Anna Barriball is a British artist based in London whose practice encompasses drawing, photography, film and installation. She is known for delicate, labour-intensive works that test the limits of materials — rubbing, tracing, folding — to produce objects that record time and touch. Her work is held in collections including Tate and the Arts Council Collection, and she has exhibited widely in the UK and internationally. She has been an artist-in-residence at Porthmeor Studios, St Ives. For Hospital Rooms she contributed to the Cornwall project (2023–24) at Camborne Redruth Community Hospital and Bodmin Community Hospital.
