Melanie Stidolph

Melanie Stidolph is an artist, filmmaker, and curator. Her recent works are influenced by experiences of infertility and childlessness, and she is drawn to rock pools and the mis-use of photographic equipment. Her work explores emotional states and ideas around care and healing. Her participatory film The next dawn, the next spring, brings together women who are childless not by choice in a supportive and collaborative environment, to share stories and sing to the sea. She also works at Tate St Ives as a Curator for the Public Programme in which she works across art forms to create engaging social experiences.
