Jacqui Hallum

Jacqui Hallum is an artist based in Totnes. Her paintings draw on imagery ranging from medieval woodcuts and leaded glass windows to tarot cards and Art Nouveau children’s book illustrations. She works primarily with textile and pigment, staining and dying loose cotton sheets with various inks. Jacqui was the winner of the prestigious John Moores Painting Prize in 2018, and her work has been exhibited at Exeter Phoenix; the Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool and Kingsgate Project Space, London.
