Sovay Berriman

Sovay Berriman is an artist based in Cornwall, UK, working for 25+ years. She studied sculpture at the Royal College of Art, London. From 2023 to 2024 she was the a-n Clore Visual Art Fellow, seconded to National Theatre Scotland, publishing ‘ReWilding Arts Leadership’. In 2025 she presented ‘Catching Copper’ at East Pool Mine with the National Trust, on loss and social change. In 2023 she was commissioned by Hospital Rooms for a permanent work at Longreach House, Cornwall Hospitals Trust. Between 2022 and 2025 she delivered ‘MESKLA | Brewyon Drudh’, exploring Cornish cultural identity, funded by Arts Council England, Feast and Historic England. She co-ran ‘Agile Structures’ (2020 to 2025) with Sara Bowler, supporting artists after Brexit and Covid-19.
