Hospital Rooms Latest Exhibition | Host|Guest Opens 3 September | In Partnership with Victoria Miro

Host|Guest: 10 Years of Art, Care and Collaboration

Host|Guest brings together artists who have helped shape Hospital Rooms’ work with mental health communities across the UK over the past decade.

Presented at Victoria Miro, London, Host|Guest explores the space between invitation, collaboration and care. The title takes its cue from the Latin hospes, meaning guest, stranger or host – a fitting starting point for an exhibition about what happens when art enters spaces of care.

Featuring Lonnie Holley, Alvin Kofi, Joy Labinjo, Mohammed Imran Khan, Xavier Laurent Leopold and Boo Saville, among others, the exhibition brings together works created specifically for NHS mental health settings, many of which are rarely seen outside the hospital environment.

  • This September, in partnership with Bonhams, we are proud to present the Hospital Rooms Anniversary Auction, a two-part fundraising sale featuring works generously donated by leading contemporary artists, including Hurvin Anderson, Veronica Ryan, Mary Stephenson and Do Ho Suh, among many others.

    The auction marks Hospital Rooms’ 10-year anniversary and celebrates the transformative role that art can play in mental health settings – a vision Hospital Rooms has championed for the past decade.

  • The Hospital Rooms Anniversary Auction brings together an exceptional group of artists who have generously donated work in support of Hospital Rooms’ 10th anniversary and its Future Fund.
