Mary Evans Tissue Paper Painting Workshop
Join artist Mary Evans for this tissue paper painting workshop. Using PVA glue and an assortment of coloured tissue paper, you will learn to create scenes that reference traditional landscape paintings.
Spend 20 minutes slowing down, focus on your breath, and immerse yourself in the unpredictable nature of bubbles with artist John Costi.
Using watered-down acrylic paint, washing-up liquid, and straws, you’ll create delicate webs of pattern as bubbles burst across the page.
Throughout the session, John shares the personal symbolism he finds in bubbles, reflecting on how his life experiences have shaped his artistic practice. Take your time developing your bubble creations, and produce an artwork that reminds you to pause and breathe.
