As a child, Dolly Sen was an alien in Empire Strikes Back. She knew then she would never know normal life. Her journey as a multidisciplinary artist has taken her up a tree in Regents Park, to California’s Death Row, to the Barbican, and to ‘section’ the head quarters of the DWP. She is a working class, Brown,Queer person who is interested in the disability and madness given to us by the world.What she wants to do is re-sculpt the world to make it beautiful to save everyone’s soul or at least tell the truth about things. She is also a writer of several books, award-winning filmmaker, and a very mischievous performer. She lives in Norwich with her partner and dog Scamp. she/they
